Contractor’s employee pleads guilty to conspiring to solicit kickbacks

An employee of a contractor providing police services in Afghanistan pleaded guilty on September 2 to one count of conspiring to solicit kickbacks from private security vendors in exchange for favorable treatment on subcontracts to provide security for USAID personnel and contractors.

The case is handled by Criminal Fraud Trial Attorney Bradford Geyer, Antitrust Division Trial Attorneys Kimberly Justice and Joseph Muoio, and ED VA AUSA Timothy Belevetz.
