On February 11, the Washington Post reported that the Department of Homeland Security did not renew contracts with two companies, EG Solutions and MultimaxArray Firstsource, due to their suspension by the Small Business Administration in November. The SBA took that step following a detailed Post report last fall into the bona fides of the companies’ Alaska Native Corporation parents. EG Solutions had received over $200 million in federal contracts since 2007, while MultimaxArray FirstSource had done approximately $70 million during that same period, the Post reported.
