In a May 6 article posted on the Legal Times’ blog, the newspaper reports that SEC Enforcement Division Chief Robert Khuzami claimed substantial progress in getting the SEC’s new whistleblower program up and running, in remarks delivered at a securities law conference in Colorado. The new provision was mandated last summer by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, but has already signed up 25 would-be whistleblowers, Khuzani reported.
